FM 200 FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS

FM-200 is a clean, colourless, and environmentally friendly fire suppression agent that is electrically non-conductive and safe for humans. It extinguishes flames primarily through heat absorption, leaving no residue thus minimizing downtime after a fire.FM 200 discharges in 10 seconds or less, extinguishing a fire quickly and effectively. FM-200 Storage components consist of the cylinder assembly(s), which contains the FM-200 chemical agent, and the cylinder bracket(s), which holds the cylinder assembly securely in place.

Control Panel monitors the condition of the electric actuator, detectors, warning devices, cylinder pressure, and any manual release and abort stations.

WET CHEMICAL SYSTEM

The Wet Chemical Extinguishing agent is a potassium carbonate based solution which is discharged as fine droplets into a protected area. The fine spray discharge prevents the dangerous splash of hot grease or thermal shock damage to cooking appliances.

Re-ignition is prevented by saponification, a process in which the wet chemical agent combines with the grease to form a soapy layer at the surface of grease to seal off the fuel from the oxygen, allowing the grease to cool to below it’s auto-ignition temperature.The system operates at a pressure of 12 bar (175p.s.i.) providing a fine spray discharge lasting for a nominal 45 seconds.

WATER MIST SUPPRESSION SYSTEM

Watermist is a versatile and highly efficient fire-fighting medium. What differentiates Watermist from traditional water based systems is its reduced droplet size. When a droplet of water vaporizes, it expands by some 1,600 times. Because heat absorption is a function of surface area and not volume, smaller droplets mean more surface area and therefore faster heat absorption. Watermist has the unique ability to deliver water as a fine atomized mist. This mist is quickly converted to steam that smothers the fire and prevents further oxygen from reaching it. At the same time, the evaporation creates a significant cooling effect of combustion gases and blocks the transfer of radiant heat.

Our Carbon Dioxide fire protection systems use intelligent, reliable and fast-acting control panels to quickly sense a fire before it can cause damage to property. Carbon dioxide gas has a high rate of expansion, which allows our CO2 fire protection system to work fast.

A total flooding system quickly extinguishes both surface and deep seated fire hazards by discharging the agent into an enclosed volume. CO2 a low-cost, non-damaging, non-conductive, multi-hazard fire protectant.
